The dynDNS service allows you to configure, through the node installed on the device, a static DNS name for that device, even if the device has a dynamic ip. The url of the DNS name is of the type "nome.nodestorm.dev". To install a node you can follow the following one of these tutorial: Nodes.

Configure, Disabled and Delete dynDNS

  1. Go to the nodes page: https://storm.dev/nodes and click on the node box of which you want to configure dynDNS. You can search the list of nodes by, the nodes by name, id, team or filters online / offline or configured / to be configured.

  2. TO CONFIGURE Click in the "Dynamic DNS" section and click on the "configure dynamic DNS" button.

  3. In the modal that opens, add the subdomain to configure the static nameDNS "subdomain_name.nodestorm.dev". Click configure DynDNS to save the changes.

  4. The DynDNS status of the node will be visible through the switch of the DynDNS section. To modify the dynDNS the procedure is the same as for the configuration.

  5. TO DISABLED OR ENABLED click on the switch.

  6. TO DELETE click on the trash icon .

The list of domains configured via DynDNS is visible on the https://storm.dev/domains page in the My Dynamic DNS section.
